I strongly support the creation of new/extension of existing national parks.

I suspect there are plenty of opportunities for new parks: South-east Queensland - always under pressure from developers (inland of the Sunshine Coast?); within the Brigalo belt (obviously suffering); and, potentially threatened by agricultural development, further north within Cape York.

There seem to be opportunities for new parks for Queenslanders.

It is great to hear that there is support for and a desire to see more National Parks/Protected Estate within Queensland.

NPAQ continues to advocate the Queensland government to ensure that more areas are reserved and once that has occurred, appropriate management of the areas takes place.
