Activities PDF Print

NPAQ offers a multitude of Activities each year for our members and their guests to take part in. We have:

  • Day Walks – These walks vary in length and difficulty and can take up to a full day to complete. They take place within National Parks and Protected Area Estate. Examples of walks we have offered this year include the Hornibrook Highway stroll which was held to celebrate the new year, The Tooloona Falls Day Walk to experience the Tooloona Creek Circuit in the Green Mountains of O’Reilly’s. Bull Creek, the Day Walk from Toohey Forest to Mt Gravatt and the Gheerula Day Walk.
  • Weekend Camps – During the Queen’s Birthday weekend this year some of our members went to Swan Creek for a weekend of walking, bird watching and a whole lot of fun.
  • Extended Outings – These cover areas within Queensland and across the country and provide members with the opportunity to see places that are truly magnificent. Our latest Extended Outing was to Western Australia touring the South-Western National Parks.
