GREAT AUSTRALIAN BUSHWALK ( Released August 2006 )
Sunday September 10, 2006
Try Bushwalking, Australia! is the motto for this year’s Great Australian Bushwalk which will be held on Sunday 10 September. Over 110 free walks are being offered throughout Australia as part of the largest single-day celebration of bushwalking.
The National Parks Association Queensland Inc (NPAQ) will be holding five different walks across South East Queensland, with something for everyone. The walks will be held at Box Forest Circuit, Binna Burra, Mt Flinders, Gorman’s Gap and Boondall Wetlands. What better way to help prevent obesity, cardio vascular disease and diabetes and to have fun with the family at the same time?
