COME WALKING WITH NPAQ
National Parks Association of Queensland Inc (NPAQ) members find Mapleton an adventure-seekers paradise with treks along the Hinterland Great Walk and walks in other nearby National Parks.
As much as the walks are an attraction for NPAQ’s members, so too are the many arts and coffee shops that Mapleton has to offer says NPAQ Outings Administrator Margot Morley. ‘For our annual mid-year event we decided to experience all that Mapleton has to offer and we are very much looking forward to it’.
This weekend (14-15 July) up to 100 members will swap their walking boots for town shoes and dine at the community hall with entertainment provided by The Range Theatre Group.
